The Role
We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Production Assistant to join our busy timber yard team.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll support the production and preparation of timber products, ensuring quality standards and customer requirements are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently (in line with training)
- Carry out continuous quality checks on materials
- Ensure sundries are stocked (banding tape, sheeting, labels, etc.)
- Prepare and present finished timber packs to a high standard
- Accurately label products with customer and stock details
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Report any health & safety concerns or improvements

Essential:
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment
- Positive attitude and team player
Desirable:
- Experience as a saw operator
- Sideloader (forklift) experience or licence
- Background in timber, manufacturing, or warehouse work
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 07:00 – 16:30
