We're looking for a Van Driver / Yard Operative to join our team at our Godstone branch.
The Role
We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Van Driver / Yard Operative to join our busy team in High Street Godstone.
This is a varied, hands-on role, with approximately 90% of your time spent making customer deliveries and the remainder supporting the day-to-day operation of the yard.

Key Responsibilities
Van Deliveries
✔ Deliver building materials safely and efficiently to customers
✔ Complete deliveries accurately and on time
✔ Carry out daily vehicle safety checks
✔ Load, secure and unload materials safely
✔ Provide excellent customer service at every delivery
Yard Duties
✔ Assist with loading and unloading vehicles
✔ Help maintain stock organisation
✔ Keep the yard clean, safe and tidy
✔ Support the wider team with day-to-day yard operations
✅ What We're Looking For
Essential
✔ Full UK Driving Licence
✔ Positive attitude and strong work ethic
✔ Good communication and teamwork skills
✔ Commitment to health and safety
Desirable
⭐ Previous experience as a Van Driver, Yard Operative, Warehouse Operative or within a Builders Merchant
⭐ Knowledge of building materials
Working Hours
Week 1
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
Week 2
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
- Saturday: 7:30am – 12:00pm
