Full Time | Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm
Join Chandlers Roofing Supplies, part of the Independent Builders Merchant Group (IBMG), and help us deliver outstanding service to trade and retail customers across the Southeast. We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative / Van Driver to join our busy Faversham branch.
What You'll Be Doing
✅ Serving customers in the yard and helping load materials
✅ Loading and unloading deliveries safely
✅ Keeping the yard clean, organised and safe
✅ Carrying out stock checks and reporting shortages
✅ Delivering building materials to customers in a company van
✅ Ensuring deliveries are accurate, safe and on time
✅ Providing excellent customer service both in branch and on the road
What We're Looking For
✔ Full UK Driving Licence
✔ Good customer service and communication skills
✔ Ability to carry out manual handling duties and work outdoors in all weather conditions
✔ Experience in a builders' merchant, construction or trade environment (preferred)
✔ Knowledge of building materials (desirable)
✔ Counterbalance Forklift Licence (desirable, training can be provided)
