We’re looking for a hands-on Assistant Branch Manager to help lead a busy, customer-focused plumbing supplies branch.
The Opportunity
This is not your typical merchant role—this is a plumbing-focused environment, where product knowledge, trade relationships, and service really matter.
You’ll support the Branch Manager in driving sales, leading the team, and delivering expert service to plumbing professionals.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Serving plumbing & heating trade customers at the counter and by phone
- Providing expert product advice and solutions
- Supporting daily branch operations and team leadership
- Driving sales and customer growth
- Managing stock across core plumbing ranges
- Maintaining high standards of customer service and H&S
- Stepping up to run the branch when needed
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a plumbing merchant or plumbing/heating trade environment
- Supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong customer focus and sales mindset
- Confident communicator who builds relationships easily
- Organised, proactive, and hands-on

⏰ Hours
- Monday–Friday: 07:00–17:00
- 1 in 2 Saturdays: 08:00–12:00
