We're looking for a Yard Operative to join our busy Crowborough branch. If you're hardworking, enjoy working outdoors, and take pride in delivering excellent customer service, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing:
- Loading and unloading building materials
- Picking and preparing customer orders accurately
- Assisting customers collecting goods from the yard
- Keeping the yard clean, safe and organised
- Supporting stock control and goods-in activities
- Operating a forklift truck (if trained)
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure excellent service
- Following all Health & Safety procedures
What we're looking for:
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable, organised and team-focused
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding outdoor environment
- Previous experience within a builders' merchant, warehouse or yard environment (desirable)
- Knowledge of building materials and construction products (desirable)
- Forklift Truck Licence (preferred but not essential)
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
- A willingness to learn and develop within the business
Working Hours:
Week 1: Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 5:00pm
Week 2: Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 5:00pm; Saturday: 8:00am - 12:00pm (rota basis, paid as overtime)
