RGB Building Supplies (Part of IBMG) is one of the Southwest’s most trusted builders’ merchants. We’re expanding our team in our RGB Bodmin Branch and are looking for a reliable Yard & Warehouse Operative. This role supports yard, warehouse, and trade counter operations, ensuring materials are handled safely and customers receive excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, store, and dispatch goods
  • Pick and prepare orders accurately and on time
  • Load delivery vehicles and assist customer collections
  • Support the trade counter and help customers with enquiries
  • Keep the yard and warehouse clean, safe, and organised
  • Follow all health & safety procedures
  • Assist with stock counts and report discrepancies
  • Work with the wider team to keep operations running smoothly

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in a builders’ merchant or warehouse (preferred)
  • Forklift licence (desirable, training may be available)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Physically fit (manual handling & outdoor work)
  • Reliable, organised, and a team player
  • Good attention to detail

Hours

Week 1: Mon–Fri 08:00–17:00
Week 2: Mon–Fri 08:00–17:00 + Sat 08:00–12:00
