RGB Building Supplies (Part of IBMG) is one of the Southwest’s most trusted builders’ merchants. We’re expanding our team in our RGB Bodmin Branch and are looking for a reliable Yard & Warehouse Operative. This role supports yard, warehouse, and trade counter operations, ensuring materials are handled safely and customers receive excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, store, and dispatch goods
- Pick and prepare orders accurately and on time
- Load delivery vehicles and assist customer collections
- Support the trade counter and help customers with enquiries
- Keep the yard and warehouse clean, safe, and organised
- Follow all health & safety procedures
- Assist with stock counts and report discrepancies
- Work with the wider team to keep operations running smoothly
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a builders’ merchant or warehouse (preferred)
- Forklift licence (desirable, training may be available)
- Strong customer service skills
- Physically fit (manual handling & outdoor work)
- Reliable, organised, and a team player
- Good attention to detail

Week 1: Mon–Fri 08:00–17:00
Week 2: Mon–Fri 08:00–17:00 + Sat 08:00–12:00
