RGB Building Supplies, one of the South West's leading independent builders' merchants, is looking for a motivated Key Accounts Negotiator to support the growth and development of our valued key account customers.
Working closely with the Key Accounts Manager, you'll build long-term customer relationships, negotiate pricing, maximise sales opportunities, and deliver outstanding service across our key accounts portfolio.
What You'll Do
✅ Manage and develop allocated key accounts
✅ Prepare and follow up quotations quickly and effectively
✅ Negotiate prices and maximise margin opportunities
✅ Identify new business opportunities and grow customer spend
✅ Support external sales teams in developing key accounts
✅ Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers
✅ Promote the full RGB product range through upselling and linked selling
✅ Monitor market activity and identify sales opportunities
What We're Looking For
✔ Builders merchant, construction supplies, electrical wholesale, plumbing, heating, kitchens, bathrooms or related industry experience
✔ Strong sales, negotiation and customer service skills
✔ Good product knowledge and commercial awareness
✔ Ability to build rapport and manage customer relationships
✔ Excellent communication and organisational skills
✔ Confidence managing pricing, margins and quotations
Working Hours
Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm 40 hours per week
