Role and Responsibilities

  • Contribute to all phases of the consulting lifecycle as a Senior Consultant.
  • Play a customer‑facing role and participate in requirement analysis, business process documentation and solution design.
  • Work with and support peers to develop, configure and deploy the solution, ensuring project processes and deliverables in your area are met.
  • Contribute to proposal development, demonstrating the application to potential customers and playing an important role in building our Oracle Cloud capabilities and offerings.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Up to 10 Years of functional experience delivering Oracle Payroll Cloud Applications.
  • Multiple full Oracle Cloud Implementation cycles.
  • Demonstrated experience in solution design, requirements analysis, functional design configuration documentation, troubleshooting and integration architecture.
  • Experience working with technical teams for interface design, development and testing.
  • Ability to multi‑task and to work independently.
  • Strong client‑facing, communication and client management skills.
  • Good understanding of application implementation methodologies.
  • Excellent knowledge of designing and configuring Oracle Payroll solutions including payroll elements, fast formula, pension schemes & absence schemes.
  • Sound understanding of related modules; Absence, Time & Labour, Compensation.
  • Excellent, up‑to‑date knowledge of UK payroll legislative requirements including PAYE and NI, pension automatic enrolment, salary sacrifice, statutory absence payments and RTI.
  • Strong client‑facing and consultancy experience.
  • Proven, full lifecycle implementation experience of delivering Oracle based HCM solutions to medium and large enterprise clients.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • Experience working with technical teams for interface design, development and testing.
  • Good domain knowledge of HCM and Payroll modules, with demonstrable knowledge of Absence and Time & Labour.
  • Leading project implementations.
  • Oracle Cloud Implementation Certification(s).
  • Experience in Oracle Cloud Implementations and integrating them with other on‑premise or cloud applications.
  • Good understanding of the broader Oracle Cloud functional areas e.g. Finance, HCM and Payroll, SCM, CX, Logistics.
  • Knowledge of the reporting and analytical tools available as part of Oracle Cloud.
  • Some experience in pre‑sales activities such as contributing to proposals, conducting proof of concepts & configuring sandbox environments for functional demonstrations.
