Your role and responsibilities
Data storage is at the heart of everything we do in life. From every photo to every financial transaction, data is generated and stored somewhere in the world, be it on a customer\\\’s own premises or in the cloud. The FlashSystem team at IBM Hursley creates resilient, high-performance and intelligent storage software that keeps business-critical systems and data available 24/7.
Our success comes down to one thing: our people. We are looking for a talented and motivated Software SRE Dev/Ops Engineer to join our engineering team here in Hursley.
Required technical and professional expertise
- 2-5 years experience in SRE/DevOPs environments and tooling, including
- Git, preferably in both Github and Gerrit
- Jenkins (both as a user and administrator)
- Jira (both as a user and administrator)
- Docker/Kubernetes/Openshift
- Nagios/Reliability monitoring tooling
- Compliance, patching on Linux systems
- Scripting experience, using Bash/Python/Java/Groovy
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies
- PHP / web scripting
