IBM Sales Representative β Fusion HCI and Fusion Software for Large Accounts in London, United Kingdom
Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic team and lead sales efforts for Fusion HCI (Hyper-Converged Infrastructure) and Fusion Software solutions tailored for large enterprise accounts.
Fusion HCI is a cutting-edge platform for deploying OpenShift-based solutions, including Watsonx and Red Hat Virtualization, enabling organizations to modernize their IT infrastructure and accelerate business transformation. As one of the fastest-growing products in our portfolio, Fusion plays a key role in simplifying operations and reducing costs for enterprises.
Your role and responsibilities
- Drive Sales Growth: Build and manage a pipeline of large enterprise accounts to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Consultative Selling: Analyze customer requirements, challenges, and objectives to propose tailored Fusion HCI and Fusion Software solutions.
- Solution Expertise: Deliver impactful product demonstrations and presentations, showcasing the capabilities of Fusion HCI as a platform for OpenShift, Watsonx, and Red Hat Virtualization.
- Build Relationships: Develop and maintain trusted partnerships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives, IT leaders, and procurement teams.
- Collaborate: Work closely with technical, pre-sales, and post-sales (Customer Success) teams to ensure smooth customer engagement and implementation of solutions.
- Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer challenges to effectively position Fusion solutions.
Required technical and professional expertise
- Proven Sales Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in selling IT solutions, with a focus on HCI, software-defined storage, cloud-based solutions, or OpenShift-based platforms.
- Large Enterprise Expertise: Demonstrated success in managing large enterprise accounts with complex buying processes.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HCI architecture, containerized solutions like OpenShift, and related technologies such as Watsonx and Virtualization technologies.
- Consultative Selling Skills: Ability to uncover customer needs and position solutions that address critical business challenges.
- Communication & Presentation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Masterβs Degree: Advanced education in Business Administration, IT, or related fields.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in HCI, OpenShift, cloud solutions, or containerized platforms (e.g., Red Hat, Kubernetes, or VMware certifications).
- Industry Experience: Knowledge of industries such as finance, healthcare, or manufacturing.
