You must have a passion for Sales and a keen interest in Technology for this role. Our Digital and Technology Solutions Degree Apprentices work in a variety of Sales and Technical Sales roles across a range of technologies, including:

  • Artificial Intelligence & Agentic AI
  • Data and AI Governance
  • Analytics
  • Automation
  • Cloud

The apprentice role could involve working with technical sellers, clients, and partners to carry out demos, proof of concepts, pilots, bid responses, client briefings, technical event and campaign management, prospecting for new opportunities, and much more.

As a Digital and Technology Solutions Degree apprentice, you will develop a broad range of technical and business skills, including information systems, systems development, data, business organisations, project management, and computer & network infrastructure. You will also take modules to develop your skills in a technical specialism. There is an opportunity to experience university life and meet apprentices from other organisations during days at university and interactive learning sessions. On an IBM Apprenticeship programme, you will be working in an innovative, creative and exciting environment. Our Apprentices span across different business units and there are many opportunities to get involved in both inside and outside of your role. You will also have two managers: a task manager who works with you on your role and an early professional manager who helps you get the most out of your apprenticeship and provides support along the way.

All apprenticeships are office based (if not on a client site) a minimum of 3 days a week; these are NOT remote roles. You need to live within commutable distance to one of our locations. Expected location: London. You will need to be mobile as all apprenticeship roles are client focused, and you may find yourself working at client sites or other IBM locations which could require extensive travel and staying away from home during the week. Valid and eligible residency status and the right to work in England. You must be authorised to work in the UK without sponsorship. Maths & English GCSE or equivalent (level 4 or above). You must have already achieved or be predicted a minimum of 120 UCAS points, equivalent to BBB at A level. If your grades are predicted, you need to provide evidence on results day. You cannot have already started or completed an apprenticeship or university course in a similar area. You must have already completed sixth form level education.

We are looking for Apprentices who will start on 7th September 2026, followed by IBM and university induction. Please note we cannot make any exceptions to this start date. Final application date: 27th May 2026; we may close earlier if we have a high volume of applications.
