As an Associate Partner, you will leverage your expertise to develop new business opportunities and lead client acceptance of IBM terms and conditions for services delivery. You will utilize your deep knowledge of complex services engagements to solve business problems in the client’s industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop New Business Opportunities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, creatively participate in developing solutions that meet client needs and support business objectives within your area of practice.
- Establish Trusted Client Relationships: Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients, articulate solutions, and foster strong relationships with other IBM areas involved in delivery of complex services.
- Contribute to Intellectual Capital: Support growth of intellectual capital within your practice area and mentor other consultants.
- Develop Proposals and Contracts: Draft and review responses to RFI, RFP, IBM contracts, and statements of work to ensure alignment with contractual requirements.
- Drive Business Growth: Assist IBM in winning new business by leveraging expertise to win client trust and confidence.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience in Complex Services Engagements: Demonstrated deep expertise in developing new business opportunities, leading client acceptance of IBM terms and conditions for services delivery.
- Expert Knowledge of Contractual Requirements: Familiarity with contractual requirements for your area of practice; ability to draft and review RFI, RFP, contracts, and SOWs.
- Established Track Record in Business Development: Experience in identifying new opportunities, creatively developing solutions, and supporting IBM in winning that business.
- Industry‑Specific Expertise: Deep understanding of the client’s industry, ability to articulate solutions, and build strong relationships with IBM’s delivery teams.
- Leadership in Intellectual Capital Growth: Experience supporting the development of other consultants through mentoring or coaching activities.
