Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Senior Product Manager in Digital Product Engineering, you will leverage your extensive product management and leadership skills to drive innovation and excellence within our organisation. Responsibilities

  • Define and articulate product vision, strategy, goals and roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the broader public sector objectives.
  • Employ excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including executives, project teams, functional managers and specialists from various areas (digital, operations, policy, legal, etc.), to build consensus, manage expectations and facilitate effective decision‑making and prioritisation.
  • Create a Minimal Viable Product (MVP) and oversee the ongoing evolution of the product roadmap and management of the product backlog.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team, integrating user needs and considering both business and technical considerations/constraints to drive product development.
  • Lead the team in delivering products and services in line with the public sector's specific requirements and regulations.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
  • Remove obstacles and impediments that hinder the team's progress, ensuring smooth workflow and continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, inspection and adaptation within the team.
  • Collaborate with other product owners, stakeholders and scrum masters to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

  • Extensive experience in product management, including defining and articulating product vision, strategy, goals and roadmap
  • Masterful proficiency in collaboration with a diverse range of stakeholders, including executives, project teams, functional managers and specialists from various areas
  • Proven track record of building consensus, managing expectations and facilitating effective decision‑making and prioritisation
  • Expertise in defining Minimal Viable Products (MVPs) and managing product backlogs
  • Experience in leading and working within multidisciplinary teams, considering both business and technical considerations/constraints
  • Proven leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills
  • Strong foundation in Agile and DevOps practices
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns
  • Proficiency in data modelling and data management
  • Experience with containerisation and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices
