As a Senior ServiceNow Package Consultant at IBM, you will provide senior consultancy and delivery expertise across complex UK public-sector ServiceNow programmes. You will act as a trusted client advisor, translating business and operational requirements into secure, scalable and maintainable ServiceNow solutions aligned with platform best practice and public-sector standards.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders, architects, developers and delivery teams to lead solution design, implementation and continuous improvement across the ServiceNow platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering and translate complex business needs into ServiceNow solutions, user stories and functional designs.
- Act as a senior ServiceNow advisor, providing guidance on platform capabilities, best practice and process optimisation.
- Lead solution design and implementation across ServiceNow applications, workflows, automation and integrations.
- Support the full delivery lifecycle from discovery and design through testing, deployment and post-go-live support.
- Facilitate client workshops and communicate effectively with technical and senior non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide leadership within Agile delivery teams, supporting planning, refinement, reviews and retrospectives.
- Champion configuration-first, upgrade-safe solutions and minimise unnecessary customisation.
- Ensure solutions meet IBM, client and UK public-sector security, governance and compliance requirements.
- Produce high-quality functional and technical documentation and support knowledge transfer.
- Identify opportunities for platform optimisation, automation and wider ServiceNow transformation.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to continuous improvement and delivery best practice.
- Maintain and comply with UK SC Security Clearance requirements for sensitive public-sector programmes.
