Role and responsibilities:

As a Senior Consultant you will be an integral part of a project team, contributing to and leading all phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will play a customer‑facing role and be involved in requirement analysis, business process documentation and solution design. You will guide your project team to develop, configure and deploy the solution, ensuring that project processes and deliverables in your area are met. In addition, you will manage and contribute to proposal development, demonstrating the application to potential customers and playing a key role in building our Warehouse Management System (WMS) capabilities and offerings. As an experienced consultant you will be a self‑starter with strong functional skills in the implementation of Oracle WMS Cloud, backed by proven hands‑on experience across different industries. You will work under pressure and communicate effectively with customer stakeholders. This role is subject to pre‑employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). Additional personal security controls (National Security Vetting) may apply, including The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).

Required technical and professional expertise:

  • Location: Flexible within the UK mainland
  • 5+ years of functional experience delivering Warehouse Management Implementations involving Oracle Cloud WMS
  • At least 2 full Oracle Cloud WMS implementation cycles
  • 10+ years proven track record delivering Warehouse Management applications
  • Experience leading streams of work and delegating/managing small teams of consultants both on‑shore and off‑shore
  • Ability to multi‑task and work independently
  • Specific experience in Warehouse Processes such as Receiving, Put‑away rules, Picking strategies, Cross‑docking, Kitting and Expiry date management
  • Demonstrated experience in Solution Design, Requirements Analysis, Functional Design, Configuration Documentation, Troubleshooting and Integration Architecture
  • Experience working with technical teams for interface design, development and testing
  • Strong client‑facing, communication and client‑management skills
  • A good understanding of Application Implementation methodologies
  • Ability to travel to client sites

Preferred technical and professional experience:

  • Experience integrating Oracle Cloud WMS with Oracle Cloud ERP and/or other on‑premise/cloud applications
  • Strong domain knowledge of Supply Chain Management processes that interact with WMS
  • Experience in other Oracle Cloud SCM products (e.g., Inventory Management, Order Management)
  • Experience in pre‑sales activities such as conducting Proof of Concepts and configuring sandbox environments for functionality demonstrations, and the ability to present proposals and business process information to both technical and business audiences
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field
  • Oracle Cloud WMS Implementation Certification
  • Security Clearance or the ability to achieve it
