In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), delivering deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.
Responsibilities
- As a Senior Consultant, you will contribute to all phases of the consulting lifecycle.
- You will play a customer‑facing role and be involved in Requirement Analysis, Business Process Documentation and Solution Design.
- You will work with and support your peers to develop, configure and deploy the solution, ensuring project processes and deliverables in your area are met.
- You will also contribute to proposal development, demonstrate the application to potential customers and play an important role in building our Oracle Cloud capabilities and offerings.
Qualifications
- Required education: None
- Preferred education: Bachelor’s degree
- Up to 10 years of functional experience delivering Oracle Payroll Cloud Applications
- Multiple full Oracle Cloud implementation cycles
- Demonstrated experience in Solution Design, Requirements Analysis, Functional Design, Configuration Documentation, Troubleshooting and Integration Architecture
- Experience working with technical teams for interface design, development and testing
- Ability to multi‑task, work independently and under pressure
- Strong client‑facing communication and customer‑management skills
- Good understanding of application implementation methodologies
- Ability to travel to client sites
- Functional skills in UK Absence (payroll side) including occupational and statutory, understanding of absence impact on UK pensions, and migration requirements for absence
- Strong fast formula skills
- At least two full lifecycle payroll implementations
- Experience leading project implementations
- Good domain knowledge of HCM and Payroll modules
- Oracle Cloud implementation certification(s)
- Experience integrating Oracle Cloud implementations with other on‑premise or cloud applications
- Good understanding of broader Oracle Cloud functional areas (Finance, HCM, Payroll, SCM, CX, Logistics)
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud reporting and analytical tools
- Some experience in pre‑sales activities such as contributing to proposals, conducting proof‑of‑concepts and configuring sandbox environments for functional demonstrations
