Your Role And Responsibilities
Step into a dynamic role as an Azure Data Engineer supporting IBM and public health sector initiatives. In this position, you will lead complex data and analytics projects, drive technical innovation, and provide guidance to junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of Azure‑based data and analytics solutions to address complex challenges in the public health sector.
- Mentor and support junior data engineers in building their technical and professional skills.
- Perform statistical analysis, data collection, data mining, and text mining to support data‑driven decision‑making.
- Architect, build, and manage end‑to‑end data solutions for analytics and reporting.
- Use advanced analytics and predictive tools, such as SPSS, to generate insights and communicate findings effectively.

- Extensive experience with data engineering principles and advanced analytics techniques.
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python, R, SQL).
- Experience with data manipulation and analysis tools (Pandas, NumPy, Dask).

- Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
This role is subject to pre‑employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
