IBM Consulting is looking for an Associate Partner to join our Supply Chain, Procurement, and Manufacturing Transformation Centre of Competence (CoC). This global team of experts helps clients reimagine their supply chain and procurement strategies through innovation, AI, and data-driven insights. As an executive leader, you will influence C‑suite decisions, shape IBM's consulting strategy, and drive transformational programs that deliver measurable business outcomes.

As part of this CoC, you will:

  • Inspire and engage clients by sharing IBM's transformation experience and industry best practices.
  • Discover and shape opportunities using IBM Consulting frameworks and assets to identify value levers.
  • Co‑create solutions through domain‑led design sessions and innovation garages.
  • Partner with local teams to deliver at‑scale transformation using proven methods and accelerators.

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic engagements in supply chain planning and procurement transformation.
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic account collaboration, executive‑level client engagement, and initiatives that expand IBM's market presence.
  • Shape IBM's supply chain consulting strategy and offerings to align with market trends and client needs.
  • Facilitate executive‑level workshops and solution design sessions, leveraging deep domain expertise.
  • Influence C‑suite decisions and build trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure successful execution of transformation programs.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in supply chain planning and procurement, with leadership roles in consulting or industry.
  • Strong knowledge of planning processes (demand, supply, inventory) and procurement strategies (sourcing, procurement, supplier collaboration).
  • Good understanding of leading platforms such as SAP IBP, Kinaxis, o9, SAP Ariba, Coupa, or Oracle Procurement Cloud.
  • Familiarity with AI, automation, and advanced analytics applied to planning and procurement.
  • Proven track record in large‑scale transformation programs and senior stakeholder management.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with experience working in global, multi‑disciplinary teams.

Preferred technical and professional experience:

  • Industry experience in manufacturing, consumer goods, retail, or high‑tech sectors.
  • Familiarity with IoT and smart manufacturing technologies for integrated supply chain solutions.
  • Experience in logistics operations and sustainable supply chain practices, including ESG compliance.
  • Thought leadership through publications, speaking engagements, or industry forums.
