In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your role and responsibilities:
- As a Lead Azure Full Stack Developer at IBM in the healthcare sector, you will apply your technical expertise and problemâsolving abilities to support the design and delivery of modern cloudânative applications built on Azure services.
- You will collaborate with seasoned professionals while continuing to develop your skills as you contribute to microservicesâbased architectures, APIâdriven solutions, and serverless application development.

Responsibilities:
- Build rich UI applications using Single Page Application (SPA) or microfrontend approaches with frameworks such as ReactJS, Angular, or Vue.js
- Design, develop, and support scalable and resilient backend microservices aligned with 12âfactor principles
- Develop data models using modern SQL and NoSQL techniques
- Work with languages and runtimes such as .NET Core and Node.js
- Develop eventâdriven applications using Kafka and Zookeeper
- Implement cloudânative CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub
- Operate and manage services on Azure such as Azure CDN, Azure API Management, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Cache for Redis
- Leverage Azure integration services including Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and API Management
- Use App Insights and Azure Monitor for observability and operational insights
- Apply DevSecOps practices using Azure DevOps tools, Azure Boards, Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, PowerShell scripting, and YAML pipeline definitions

Required technical and professional expertise:
- Proficiency in developing rich UI applications based on SPAs or microfrontends
- Expertise in developing scalable and resilient backend microservices following the 12-factor principles
- Knowledge of modern SQL and NoâSQL modeling techniques
- Proficiency in purpose-built programming languages and runtimes, including .NET Core and Node.js
- Strong understanding of Azure cloud services and frameworks
- Experience with Event Driven Applications using Kafka and Zookeeper
- Familiarity with cloud-native CI/CD for change release
- Understanding of Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Experience with Azure Content Delivery Network (CDN) and Azure API Management
- Knowledge of Azure SQL DB, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Cache for Redis
- Implementation experience with Azure Integration services like Azure Logic apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and APIM
- Familiarity with App Insights and Azure Monitor for observability
- Understanding of DevSecOps principles with Azure DevOps, Azure Boards, Azure Pipeline, Azure Repos, PowerShell scripting, and YAML pipeline creation
- Excellent problemâsolving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and learn from senior team members
