As an Oracle Project Manager you will be responsible for the successful delivery of Oracle Cloud (SaaS) implementations, including ERP, HCM, SCM, CX, or EPM. This role manages the full project lifecycle from initiation and design through deployment and post‑go‑live support, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while meeting business and technical objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Implement structured stakeholder management and governance to deliver Oracle SaaS solutions using IBM methodology or equivalent frameworks.
  • Monitor and control project progress using clear metrics to keep project health on track.
  • Support peers to ensure process and deliverable requirements are met and contribute to proposal development and Oracle Cloud capability building.
  • Ensure project quality and delivery comply with consistent methodology, processes, and policies.

Qualifications

  • Up to 10 years of functional experience delivering Oracle Cloud projects.
  • Excellent knowledge and implementation experience of Oracle HCM/ERP Cloud, with multiple large‑scale Oracle projects involving multiple modules.
  • Strong client‑facing and consultancy experience, capable of building lasting relationships.
  • Full lifecycle implementation experience delivering Oracle HCM or ERP solutions to medium and large enterprise clients.
  • Excellent presentation, organisational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Emotionally intelligent and compassionate; fosters an inclusive culture at IBM FutureNow.
  • Motivation to help IBM FutureNow grow and improve.
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home.
  • Deep expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud and/or Oracle ERP Cloud with multiple full‑lifecycle implementations.
  • Experience managing complex, multi‑module Oracle programs from mobilization to production deployment.
  • Commercial management capabilities: budget ownership, contract adherence, financial oversight.
  • Leadership presence that energises teams in fast‑moving environments.
  • Experience with Service Cloud (CX), Planning & Budgeting (EPM), Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI).
  • Experience supporting pre‑sales activities (ITT/RFP responses).
  • Experience with higher education or central government customers.
  • Prince2 Practitioner Certification or equivalent desirable.
