Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant working as an integral part of a project team, you will contribute to and lead all phases of the consulting lifecycle.

You will play a customer‑facing role and be involved in Requirement Analysis, Business Process Documentation & Solution Design.

You will work with and guide your project team to develop, configure and deploy the solution, and ensure project processes and deliverables in your area are met.

In addition to project‑related activities you will also manage and contribute to proposal development, demonstrating the application to potential customers and playing an important role in building our WMS capabilities and offerings.

As an experienced consultant, you will be a self‑starter and have strong functional skills in the implementation of Oracle WMS Cloud, backed up by proven hands‑on experience, ideally across different industries.

You will have the ability to work under pressure and must be able to communicate effectively with customer stakeholders.

You will work across a wide variety of customers and play a key role in some of the most exciting supply‑chain implementations across Europe.

  • Required Technical And Professional Expertise
  • Location: Flexible within the UK mainland
  • 5+ Years of functional experience delivering Warehouse Management Implementations involving Oracle Cloud WMS.
  • At least 2 full Oracle Cloud WMS Implementation cycles.
  • 10+ Years proven track record delivering Warehouse Management applications.
  • Experience leading streams of work and delegating/managing small teams of consultants both on‑shore and off‑shore.
  • Ability to multi‑task and work independently.
  • Specific experience in Warehouse Processes such as Receiving, Put‑away rules, Picking strategies, Cross‑docking, Kitting and Expiry‑date management.
  • Demonstrated experience in Solution Design, Requirements Analysis, Functional Design, Configuration Documentation, Troubleshooting and Integration Architecture.
  • Experience working with technical teams for Interface design, development and testing.
  • Strong client‑facing, communication and client management skills.
  • A good understanding of Application Implementation methodologies.
  • Ability to travel to client sites.

This role is subject to pre‑employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).

An additional range of Personal Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NVS) may apply, which could include meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).

  • Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
  • Experience in integrating Oracle Cloud WMS with Oracle Cloud ERP and/or other on‑premise/cloud applications.
  • Strong domain knowledge of Supply Chain Management processes with which WMS interacts.
  • Experience in other Oracle Cloud SCM products e. g. Inventory Management, Order Management.
  • Experience in pre‑sales activities such as conducting Proof of Concepts & Configuring Sandbox environments for functionality demonstrations, and the ability to present proposals and business process information to both technical and business audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Oracle Cloud WMS Implementation Certification.
  • Security Clearance or the ability to achieve it.
