In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
We are looking for a Java Developer to design and build high‑quality applications using Java/JEE and modern web technologies. You will develop application features, integrate systems, and apply best practices such as dependency injection, TDD, and CI/CD. The Application Developer (Java & Web Technologies) designs, develops, and supports applications using the Java/JEE stack. The role involves building web components, implementing enterprise application features, and contributing to reliable, secure, and maintainable software delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain applications using Java/JEE and related frameworks.
- Build web components using Java frameworks.
- Apply enterprise practices including dependency injection, IoC, AOP, functional programming, and TDD.
- Implement data access, transaction management, and system integration.
- Contribute to DevOps practices such as CI/CD and automated testing.
- Work with teams to troubleshoot issues and deliver high‑quality solutions.
