Role Overview
At IBM Consulting UK FutureNow, you’ll build a career at the forefront of hybrid cloud and AI, working with leading clients across the public and private sectors. You’ll collaborate with top industry professionals, gain hands‑on experience with cutting‑edge technologies, and deliver solutions that create real business impact.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to all phases of the consulting lifecycle.
- Perform customer‑facing tasks including requirement analysis, business process documentation, and solution design.
- Support peers in developing, configuring, and deploying Oracle EPM Cloud solutions, ensuring project processes and deliverables are met.
- Contribute to proposal development and demonstration of applications to potential customers, building our Oracle Cloud capabilities and offerings.
- Act as a self‑starter, manage pressure, and communicate effectively with customer stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively within a premier consulting firm, focusing on cutting‑edge Cloud implementations.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Up to 10 years of functional experience delivering Oracle EPM Cloud Applications.
- Multiple full Oracle Cloud Implementation cycles.
- Demonstrated experience in solution design, requirements analysis, functional workshops.
- Design configuration documentation, troubleshooting, and integration architecture.
- Experience working with technical teams for interface design, development, and testing.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Strong client‑facing, communication, and client‑management skills.
- Good understanding of application implementation methodologies.
- Demonstrable functional skills in at least two of: Planning and Budgeting Cloud (Financial Planning, Workforce Planning, Capex, and Projects); Financial Consolidation and Close; Narrative Reporting.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Experience working with technical teams for interface design, development, and testing.
- Good domain knowledge of Oracle Cloud Implementations and integrating with on‑premise or cloud applications.
- Good understanding of broader Oracle Cloud functional areas (Finance, HCM and Payroll, SCM, CX, Logistics).
- Good knowledge of reporting and analytical tools available in Oracle Cloud.
- Experience in pre‑sales activities such as contributing to proposals, conducting Proof of Concepts, configuring sandbox environments for functional demonstrations.
