Your role and responsibilities
The Role
As an Associate Consultant in Complex Project Management, you’ll help deliver large‑scale transformation programmes that involve multiple teams, technologies and stakeholders. You’ll support project planning, coordination and execution — helping clients stay on track, manage risks, and achieve their strategic goals. This is a great role for someone who enjoys structure, organisation, communication and bringing people together to deliver outcomes. You’ll be right at the intersection of technology, people and process, learning how major enterprise‑wide change actually happens in the real world.
What You’ll Do
- Support project planning, scheduling, tracking and reporting activities
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams and ensure key actions are followed through
- Help run meetings, workshops and stakeholder sessions
- Analyse project data, risks and dependencies to support decision‑making
- Assist with documenting requirements, timelines and delivery milestones
- Develop clear communications tailored to different audiences
- Support the creation of project governance, RAID logs and delivery frameworks
- Help define current‑state and future‑state processes for transformation programmes
- Use IBM Design Thinking and agile methods to support client challenges
- Work closely with senior project managers to keep programmes on track
