Your role and responsibilities
As a Sales Development Representative, you will be IBM's first line of contact for inbound client sales activity, understanding clients' business needs and aligning IBM's value proposition based on solution offerings. You will focus on new customer acquisition, lead qualification, and conversion to sales qualified leads for IBM sellers and Ecosystem partners. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Qualify Inbound Leads: Timely lead qualification, speed to customer, and conversion to sales qualified leads (SQLs) for IBM sellers and Ecosystem partners to own, progress, and close based on IBM's client engagement model defined criteria.
- Build Social Eminence: Effectively utilize digital tools and social media skills to build social eminence and drive client engagement.
- Deliver Customer Demos: Maintain up-to-date product offering knowledge and deliver technical customer demos for customers on select products offerings.
- Partner Across Ecosystem: Partner across the ecosystem to drive revenue growth and make IBM the vendor of choice.
- Drive Client Engagement: Understand clients' business needs and align IBM's value proposition based on solution offerings to drive client engagement.
