In this role, you will work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Your role and responsibilities include:
- Lead the development of testing strategies, test plans, test cases, and quality metrics.
- Manage and execute tests for cloud‑based applications, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate testing processes seamlessly.
- Mentor junior quality engineers, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Stay up‑to‑date with emerging testing methodologies and best practices, driving innovation within the organisation.
Required technical and professional expertise:
- Extensive experience with Hybrid Cloud environments and testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Expertise in test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, etc.).
- Proficiency in test planning, design, execution, and reporting.
- Experience with test automation tools (Rational, Selenium, etc.).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
