Your Role and Responsibilities
- Lead cross‑functional project teams in delivering custom development solutions or managing application maintenance and support.
- Ensure project completion within the specified scope, cost, and timeline while meeting business requirements and contractual obligations.
- Manage project plans, budgets, schedules, and staffing requirements, including IBM, client employees, and third‑party vendors.
- Establish effective communication plans, deliver regular project status updates to stakeholders, and ensure successful project outcomes.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, encouraging open communication and continuous improvement.
- Assist with resource management activities, including onboarding, offboarding, and general team coordination and logistics.
- Facilitate sessions and meetings within the account, including attending key discussions, capturing progress updates, and drafting reports.
- Organise and support events at the Leicester base, including managing room bookings and contributing to location‑based initiatives.
- Support both local and broader Borders & Trade initiatives, fostering collaboration across teams.
- Contribute to the coordination and successful delivery of project milestones and governance activities, including regular reporting.
- Develop a basic understanding of project commercials (Fixed Price / T&M) and assist with forecast updates.
- Facilitate collaboration between the account and wider Welfare, Tax, and Customs teams to ensure alignment and delivery continuity.
