Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Lead Azure Full Stack Developer at IBM in the healthcare sector, you will apply your technical expertise and problem‑solving abilities to support the design and delivery of modern cloud‑native applications built on Azure services. You will collaborate with seasoned professionals while continuing to develop your skills as you contribute to microservices‑based architectures, API‑driven solutions, and serverless application development. Responsibilities
- Build rich UI applications using Single Page Application (SPA) or microfrontend approaches with frameworks such as ReactJS, Angular, or Vue.js
- Design, develop, and support scalable and resilient backend microservices aligned with 12‑factor principles
- Develop data models using modern SQL and NoSQL techniques
- Work with languages and runtimes such as .NET Core and Node.js
- Use Azure cloud services including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Container Service, Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure App Services, Azure Batch, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Fabric
- Develop event‑driven applications using Kafka and Zookeeper
- Implement cloud‑native CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub
- Apply Test Driven Development (TDD) practices
- Operate and manage services on Azure such as Azure CDN, Azure API Management, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Cache for Redis
- Leverage Azure integration services including Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and API Management
- Use App Insights and Azure Monitor for observability and operational insights
- Apply DevSecOps practices using Azure DevOps tools, Azure Boards, Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, PowerShell scripting, and YAML pipeline definitions
Education
Bachelor's Degree Required
Technical And Professional Expertise
- Proficiency in developing rich UI applications based on SPAs or microfrontends
- Expertise in developing scalable and resilient backend microservices following the 12-factor principles
- Knowledge of modern SQL and No-SQL modeling techniques
- Proficiency in purpose-built programming languages and runtimes, including .NET Core and Node.js
- Strong understanding of Azure cloud services and frameworks
- Experience with Event Driven Applications using Kafka and Zookeeper
- Familiarity with cloud-native CI/CD for change release
- Understanding of Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Proficiency in running and managing services on Azure, including Azure VMs, Azure Container Service, Azure Container Registry, Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure App Services, Azure Batch, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Fabric
- Experience with Azure Content Delivery Network (CDN) and Azure API Management
- Knowledge of Azure SQL DB, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Cache for Redis
