Your Role And Responsibilities As an Infrastructure Specialist at IBM, you will support infrastructure in industries like transportation, energy, insurance, banking, or healthcare, which are rapidly evolving as technology advances. Are you ready to help our clients take the next step forward? Preferred Education Candidates should have a Bachelor\’s Degree. Companies now have more choices than ever before between on-premise, off-premise, or hybrid approaches. As an Associate Infrastructure Specialist, you’ll be responsible for staying updated with the latest changes, using your expertise to deliver solutions that meet our clients\’ needs and product requirements. Your responsibilities may include: Maintaining and creating automated builds and patches for operating systems and middleware. Supporting complex middleware components and frameworks, adapting to new tooling as needed. Documenting procedures and other build-related activities effectively. Required Technical And Professional Expertise RedHat Linux 6 or 7 (certification not essential). Shell scripting experience in Linux/UNIX environments. Knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, CloudWatch, etc.). Knowledge of Kubernetes and Terraform. Experience with storage, server disks, file systems, volume management software (like LVM), and understanding various RAID levels. Experience working with infrastructure hardware such as Dell servers (BIOS, IDRACS, cabling, etc.). As an equal opportunity employer, we welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds.
