As an Application Developer, you will lead IBM into the future by translating system requirements into the design and development of customised systems in an agile environment. The success of IBM is in your hands as you transform vital business needs into code and drive innovation. Your work will power IBM and its clients globally, collaborating and integrating code into enterprise systems. Your Role And Responsibilities

  • You will work on projects to design, build and test high quality software solutions to meet business needs.
  • You will undertake a range of assessments at the end of your academic modules.
  • You will also create a portfolio that captures the knowledge and skills you will develop throughout the programme and in the workplace.
  • You will also complete a final year work‑based project which will bring together your accumulated knowledge. The portfolio and project will contribute towards your End Point Assessment for the apprenticeship standard.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

  • Five GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, including English and Mathematics or equivalent.
  • 104 UCAS points from at least two A‑levels or equivalent, or
  • BTEC National Diploma/Extended Diploma at DMM, or
  • Pass in the QAA accredited Access to HE, or
  • International Baccalaureate: 26+ points.
  • T Levels Merit.
