Introduction

In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centres (Delivery Centres), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centres offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for driving the successful execution of technical projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring client satisfaction. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing technical projects, working closely with developers, architects, and other stakeholders.
  • Analysing and defining project requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and documenting functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Collaborating with development teams to ensure projects meet business objectives, technical standards, and quality benchmarks.
  • Facilitating communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and alignment.
  • Developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, and budgets, and managing risks and issues.
  • Conducting thorough testing and quality assurance, identifying defects, and guiding resolution.
  • Documenting and communicating project progress, milestones, and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Continuously improving project management processes and methodologies.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

  • Strong track record as a Business Analyst, with a strong background in technical project delivery.
  • In-depth knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex requirements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management tools delivering at least 1 end to software development project
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
