We're partnering with a leading financial services client to appoint an IBM Product Manager within their Enterprise Platform Integration function. This is a key role within a large-scale transformation programme, with responsibility for the strategy, roadmap and governance of a portfolio of IBM products, including IBM MQ, ACE and Tivoli, alongside supporting the transition from Tivoli to Instana.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and develop the product strategy and roadmap for IBM platforms
- Manage product governance, lifecycle and ongoing service improvement
- Lead vendor management and commercial relationships
- Oversee licensing, costs and contractual requirements
- Work closely with engineering, architecture and technology teams
- Support the migration from Tivoli to Instana
- Coordinate with large, globally distributed teams across multiple regions
Proven experience as a Product Manager within an enterprise technology environment
- Strong knowledge of IBM technologies, particularly MQ, ACE and Tivoli
- Experience managing technology roadmaps, governance and product strategy
- Strong vendor and licence management experience
- Experience working within large-scale transformation programmes
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Comfortable working with global, multi-disciplinary teams
