Your role and responsibilities:
We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join our delivery team and help shape high-quality digital and technology solutions. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, testers, and vendors to gather and document requirements, analyse problems, and ensure that technical solutions meet business needs. You will translate complex business objectives into clear functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows. You will support all stages of the SDLC, helping teams understand dependencies, evaluate impacts, and deliver high-quality outcomes. Your ability to communicate clearly, analyse issues, and facilitate workshops will be essential as you help shape solution design and guide delivery teams. As a Technical BA, you will also bring a practical understanding of how systems integrate, how APIs and data flows behave, and how non-functional requirements influence technology decisions. Depending on your experience, you may lead requirement workstreams, mentor other analysts, or contribute to account level planning and stakeholder management. If you enjoy solving complex problems, engaging with both business and technical teams, and helping deliver solutions that add real value, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business and functional requirements.
- Create user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and use cases.
- Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, and solution assessments.
- Work with developers, testers, architects, and vendors to clarify requirements.
- Support Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and backlog refinement.
- Assist with testing activities by validating requirements and reviewing results.
- Depending on experience, help guide workshops, mentor team members, or support stakeholder engagement.
Required technical and professional expertise:
- Strong requirement gathering and documentation skills.
- Functional specification writing (user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases).
- Impact analysis and gap analysis.
- SDLC knowledge (Agile, iterative, and traditional models).
- Process mapping (BPMN or equivalent).
- Understanding of APIs, integration patterns, and system interactions.
- Ability to read/interpret technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and data flow diagrams.
- Understanding of non-functional requirement categories.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management.
- Workshop facilitation.
- Problem-solving, analytical thinking, and structured reasoning.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, testers, architects, and vendors.
