Your role and responsibilities
IBM Consulting\’s Enterprise Strategy practice helps businesses identify new opportunities with AI and other technologies.
We then turn strategy into action, building robust plans for how to execute on the vision and manage the transformation.
Sample activities include:
Help clients develop robust enterprise strategies related to AI and digital transformations
Design new operating models to support AI and digital transformations
Develop business cases to identify the value drivers and potential from transformation
Manage transformation programs, ensuring alignment to value
Identify, value, and develop new opportunities with AI
As Senior Managing Consultant, your role will be to help set the project plans, lead the analyses, and drive content creation.
You will receive input from the Partner/Associate Partner and then be responsible for driving the work.
You typically will manage several additional resources or complete teams to help with the execution.
*Travel will be required.
The amount of travel is dependent on client requirements.
Travel in any given week could range from none to several days.
Required technical and professional expertise
Successful candidates will have the following skills:
Experience identifying and recommending AI use cases and solutions
Strong analytical skills and ability to build valuation models
Strong core consulting skills, including problem structuring, hypothesis-driven analysis, communication, executive-level storytelling and ability to design and create effective PowerPoint presentations.
Strong comfort using AI tools and assistants, including prompt engineering.
Preferred technical and professional experience
Self-starter, able to work with light direction and take ownership of activities
Team player, eager to collaborate with others
Prior experience working with blue-chip clients and in global or multi-GEO environments
Industry experience in Distribution, Industrials, or Energy
Ideal background: Manager-level consultant from a major international consultancy
