Role Description

This full-time, hybrid Sales Development Representative role is based in our London or Frankfurt office.

The SDR will focus on identifying and qualifying new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and social outreach.

The role includes researching target organizations, engaging key decision-makers, and scheduling discovery meetings or product demonstrations for the sales team.

The representative will maintain accurate records in CRM systems, follow up on inbound leads, and collaborate closely with account executives and marketing to optimize campaigns.

Daily responsibilities also include meeting activity and pipeline targets, contributing feedback on messaging, and representing IBISWORLDS solutions in a professional, consultative manner.

Qualifications

  • Native-level proficiency in either French or German is mandatory; professional proficiency in both languages is highly desirable, enabling the role to support and tailor outreach across both markets.
  • Strong Inside Sales and Lead Generation skills, with experience identifying, qualifying, and nurturing prospects.
  • Demonstrated Sales and Business Development abilities, including building pipelines and supporting revenue growth.
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage confidently with business stakeholders.
  • Experience using CRM tools to manage prospecting activity, pipeline, and follow-ups.
  • Ability to work toward clear targets, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple opportunities.
  • Comfort with outreach via phone, email, and social channels, and willingness to learn new sales techniques.
  • Prior experience in B2B sales, market research, or information services is beneficial but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
