Job Overview

This role's core responsibility is supporting the revenue departments, reporting to the Head of Revenue, UK, but often working directly with MIS, IT, Marketing, and HR on various projects and reoccurring tasks.

The Sales Support Analyst works on global and local projects to help enforce operations best practice.

The role also includes a smaller amount of general office administration to support the smooth running of the UK office.

  • Key Duties/Responsibilities
  • Data Quality & Administration
  • Understand and enforce IBISWorld Global Operations Team's data integrity standards
  • Qualify, manage, and direct inbound leads for the Europe Businesses on Salesforce
  • Process account requests, transfers and merges on Admin and Salesforce
  • Administer Salesforce applications of revenue enablement tools – Lusha, Gong, Linked In Sales Navigator
  • Create, maintain & monitor revenue reporting and dashboards on team results
  • Revenue Team Support
  • Develop and maintain strong understanding of Sales and Client Services business rules and processes
  • Assist with new-hire set up on Salesforce
  • Assist department heads with thoughtful sales analysis, department trends & staff performance
  • Work closely with inbound sales manager and team to improve process and tracking
  • Maintain monthly revenue and BDM activity reports
  • Skill up management on basic reporting and data analysis concepts
  • Offer and promote Revenue Operations best practice with management
  • Perform other duties as required analysis
  • Document all projects for management within Teamwork
  • Global Operations Support
  • Develop a strong understanding of Salesforce and overall Revenue Operations best practice
  • Monitor the datapoints important to the sync of IBISWorld's database and Salesforce
  • Review and complete tasks from the queue of operational improvements from Teamwork
  • Work with Global Revenue Support Analyst with scaling global process to Melbourne and Europe teams
  • Communicate local initiatives or tasks that need our support to Global Revenue Support Analyst
  • Office Administration
  • (A smaller part of the role, supporting the day-to-day running of the UK office.)
  • Coordinate and support the organisation of office events
  • Manage office orders, supplies and deliveries
  • Handle maintenance enquiries
  • Provide general office administration support as required

  • Strong understanding of IBISWorld's revenue process and priorities
  • Ability to help flag inefficiencies and bottlenecks within current process or data
  • Inbound lead process consistently maintained and improved
  • Positive working relationships with management, colleagues and internal stakeholders;
  • Improvement in Salesforce and revenue operations knowledge

  • Adept attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proactive “can do” attitude, with strong initiative and diligence
  • Ability to collaborate and work with a team, but also self-motivating and autonomous with minimal supervision required
  • Strong work ethic and organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize various responsibilities and deadlines
  • Flexibility to effectively deal with unexpected assignments and changes to workload based on management priorities or client requests
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to deal with all confidential issues accordingly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially with various levels of management
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to collect, analyze, interpret and communicate data
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; strong Excel knowledge a plus

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree advantageous
  • Administration experience is essential

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 pounds occasionally (e. g., equipment or supplies).
  • Occasional walking, standing, bending, and reaching as required to access or use equipment.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment (e. g., computers, printers, copiers, scanners).
