We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Team Member to support daily kitchen operations. The role involves preparing breakfast items or dinner menu items, maintaining buffet service or dinner service, ensuring cleanliness, and adhering to all health, safety and hygiene standards for both morning and late shifts.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook breakfast items or dinner menu items in accordance with company standards and recipes.
- Set up, monitor, and replenish the breakfast buffet to ensure food is fresh, well presented, and adequately stocked at all times.
- Prepare and serve simple meals for the restaurant.
- Clean dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and work areas promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure the kitchen and food service areas are kept clean, organized, and hygienic throughout shifts.
- Receive, check, and organize deliveries, ensuring correct storage of food and supplies following FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
- Assist with stock rotation and inventory control as required.
- Follow all food safety, health & safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Report any maintenance, safety, or stock issues to the supervisor.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth hotel operations.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferable.
- Friendly, approachable with excellent customer service skills.
- Flexibility in working hours is essential.
