Job Description

Maintenance Technician

You perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain the property’s facilities and equipment to ensure a safe and functional environment for the guests.

Responsible for preventative maintenance work and carry out regular safety and maintenance inspections across the hotel to create a pleasant and safe environment for all colleagues, guests and visitors.

Ideally have a good understanding of building maintenance including plumbing, electrical and building works.

To be able to solve defects on daily basis.

To be able to deal with contractors and maintain paperwork including HS, FS, PPMs, risk assessments etc.

Take part in hotel projects to improve FF&E, quality, efficiency and sustainability.

Inspect all areas of the property for safety issues and take immediate corrective action.

Qualifications

  • Relevant building maintenance experience is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
  • Highly responsible & reliable.
  • Flexible and available in emergency situations.
