ibis Styles Haydock is looking for an outgoing, dependable, welcoming Hotel Assistant to deliver an amazing first impression and ensure our guests want to come back time and again. You will mainly be working in our food & beverage operation, across the bar & restaurant.
We are adding to our team to help cover busy periods and need a Guest Service Assistant on a part-time basis, working 16 hours per week in return for a salary of up to £12.21 per hour. Experience in a customer-facing hospitality job is preferred, and a big personality and potential are top of our hiring wish list. We need people who are open, welcoming and who know what great customer service looks like - the kind of person you would like to meet after a long day of travelling!
You will be working across the front-of-house operations of the hotel doing a bit of everything! This will include:
- Assisting with the breakfast service
- Helping set up meeting rooms
- Working the bar and restaurant
- Potentially checking guests in and out
- Providing great customer service
A great telephone manner is essential, and you will need to be confident using a computer. As we are one big team, you can expect to turn your hand to whatever is needed to ensure our guests have a great stay.
You could be working a mix of midweek, weekend, early and late shifts, so flexibility in your schedule would be a big advantage. As you will be serving alcohol, we do require applicants to be 18 years of age or older.
