ibis Styles London Gatwick Airport is looking for an outgoing, dependable, welcoming Hotel Receptionist to deliver an amazing first impression and ensure our guests want to come back time and again. We are building our team and need a part‑time Hotel Receptionist (officially known as a Guest Service Assistant) working 24 hours a week in return for a salary of up to £12.71 per hour plus great benefits including a day off for your birthday, discounts at hotels and opportunities for career progression.

Responsibilities:

  • Check guests in and out, answer questions, and support them during their stay.
  • Provide a great telephone manner and use computers for light administrative tasks.
  • Assist with serving alcohol, pulling the odd pint, taking food orders and any other tasks needed to ensure guests have a great stay.
  • Adapt to a mix of mid‑week, weekend, early and late shifts; flexibility in scheduling is an advantage.

Qualifications:

  • Hotel reception experience and excellent customer service skills.
  • Open, welcoming, and confident using a computer.
  • Age 18 years or older (required for alcohol service).
  • Willingness and ability to work 16 hours a week (up to 24 hours) with flexible shift patterns.
