We are looking for a passionate and reliable Chef de Partie to join part-time our kitchen team at Ibis London Excel. The successful candidate will work closely with the Food & Beverage team to deliver high-quality food across our hotel restaurant and breakfast service.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, cook and present dishes to a consistently high standard.
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with hotel recipes, standards and presentation guidelines.
Maintain excellent food hygiene, health and safety standards at all times.
Assist with preparation for breakfast, lunch, dinner, functions and special events as required.
Monitor food quality, freshness and portion control.
Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality and consistency.
Assist with stock rotation, deliveries and storage of food products.
Minimise food waste and maintain good stock control.
Keep equipment and wider kitchen areas clean and organised.
Support and communicate effectively with other members of the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
Follow COSHH, HACCP and other relevant food safety procedures.
Carry out any other reasonable duties required by the management team.
Job requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a similar professional kitchen environment.
Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety requirements.
The ability to work a flexible rota, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Must have the Right to Work in the UK
