Job Description

ibis Styles Barnsley is looking for a dependable, welcoming Guest Service Assistant to deliver great customer service during the night. The role is based on working 16 hours a week, with shifts typically from 11pm to 7am. We\\\'re offering a competitive salary of up to Β£13.00 per hour and great benefits including a day off for your birthday, discounts at hotels and opportunities for career progression.

You\'ll ideally have been working in a customer-facing hotel position and experience doing nights would also be a significant advantage. We need people who are open, welcoming and who know what great customer service looks like!

  • You\'ll be checking guests in and out at Reception, answering questions and supporting them during your stay
  • Supervising, motivating and leading colleagues on shift
  • Occasionally working solo; be responsible, reliable and confident
  • Be confident using a computer as you might be running reports overnight
  • Pulling the odd pint and taking some food orders as part of team service
  • Checking the security of the hotel and turning your hand to whatever\'s needed to ensure our guests have a great stay
  • Working 16 hours a week with a mix of midweek and weekend shifts
  • As you\'ll be serving alcohol, applicants must be 18 years of age or older

Qualifications

  • Preferably with experience in a similar role
  • Ideally, experience working nights
