Responsibilities include leading the Maintenance function at the Hotel, providing both reactive and proactive multi-skilled service on all operational equipment and hotel infrastructure. You will be responsible for planned scheduling creation and overseeing the adherence and timely completion of work carried out.
Key tasks involve increasing site operational effectiveness, improving project delivery, and reducing equipment failure room downtime. You will manage and implement improvement plans, driving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while ensuring Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to.
Additionally, you will implement and manage continuous improvement of maintenance services by recommending changes where necessary, ensuring maintenance is completed with effective use of resources. Identifying potential lifecycle deficiencies and producing capital budgets to match lifecycle expectations will also be part of your role.
As the lead operational facilities manager, you will provide a link between the hotel, Manager, Regional Technical, and UK Technical Services. You will serve as the main point of contact for maintenance emergencies outside normal working hours for urgent issues, including attending the hotel when required.
This role is critical to ensuring a high-quality guest experience, maintaining the hotel's reputation, and protecting its physical assets.
Qualifications include a formal qualification in Mechanical, HVAC or Electrical, good written and verbal communication skills in English, and basic knowledge of Microsoft tools.
