ibis Styles Haydock is looking for an outgoing, dependable, welcoming Hotel Assistant to deliver an amazing first impression and ensure our guests want to come back time and again. You will mainly be working in our food & beverage operation, across the bar & restaurant. We’re adding to our team to help cover busy periods and need a Guest Service Assistant on a part-time basis, working 16 hours per week in return for a salary of up to £12.21 per hour.
Experience in a customer-facing hospitality job is preferred and a big personality and potential are top of our hiring wish list. We need people who are open, welcoming and who know what great customer service looks like – the kind of person you’d like to meet after a long day of travelling!
Responsibilities:- Work across the front-of-house operations of the hotel, assisting with breakfast service, setting up meeting rooms, working the bar and restaurant.
- Check guests in and out and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain a great telephone manner and confidently use a computer.
- Handle a mix of mid-week, weekend, early and late shifts; schedule flexibility is a big advantage.
- Serve alcohol – applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
