Ibis Glasgow, part of the Accor hospitality group, is looking for a Multi-Skilled Team Member to work full time at £12.73 per hour.

The role combines front office and food & beverage duties in a fast-paced environment, requiring flexibility, a can-do attitude and a passion for guest service.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the reception desk and processing check in/out.
  • Provide a friendly and personalised welcome for guests.
  • Convey the image of the brand and the hotel.
  • Manage multi-tasking with a proactive personality in this hands-on role.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for guests throughout their stay.
  • Be available to assist at any stage of the guests stay, from welcome to farewell.
  • Handle and resolve any guest feedback efficiently and satisfactorily.
  • Promote the company’s ALL loyalty programme.
  • Prepare all required documents for the day.
  • Bar and restaurant service – take orders, serve food, and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Offer an attentive and personalised service.
  • Prepare and clear tables, refill beverages, and maintain food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Assist in setting up, breaking down and maintaining dining areas for events.
  • Flexibly assist in both reception and F&B tasks based on hotel occupancy and needs.
  • Cook and support buffet set-ups and keep areas replenished as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Self-starter capable of working unsupervised.
  • Positive attitude with genuine customer service focus and technical ability to process nightly audit of all front office transactions.
  • Fast-thinking, customer-focused problem solver with initiative, delivering memorable guest experiences while ensuring all daily revenue is captured and reported on.
  • Night audit and/or accounts experience highly regarded for career progression.

Eligibility

Eligibility to live and work in the United Kingdom and possession of a current work visa is required.
