We are looking for a Full‑time Multi Skilled Team Member to welcome guests, manage the reception desk and perform F&B duties at IBIS Ibis Bristol Temple Meads.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the reception desk and process check‑in/out.
- Provide a friendly and personal welcome for guests.
- Convey the image of the brand and the hotel.
- Multi‑task and maintain a proactive attitude in a fast‑paced environment.
- Serve as the single point of contact for guests during their stay.
- Assist at any stage of the guest’s stay, from welcome to farewell.
- Handle and resolve guest feedback efficiently and satisfactorily.
- Promote the company’s ALL loyalty programme.
- Prepare all documents required for daily operations.
- Provide bar and restaurant service: take orders, serve food, ensure guest satisfaction.
- Offer attentive and personalised service in the bar and restaurant.
- Prepare and clear tables, refill beverages, uphold food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist in setting up, breaking down and maintaining dining areas for events.
- Flexibly support both reception and F&B tasks based on hotel occupancy and needs.
- Assist with cooking and supporting buffet setups, ensuring the area is replenished as necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to handle various tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Previous experience in a multi‑faced role preferred.
- Customer service experience is a plus.
- Additional certifications in relevant areas are beneficial.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
