The Role

  • Be the Captain: Lead, inspire, and develop a multi-tasking team to deliver top-tier service.
  • Drive Results: Take full ownership of the P&L, managing budgets, and achieving revenue targets.
  • Grow the Business: Take an active role in driving local sales and occupancy. Plan and execute weekly sales activities including local business outreach, competitor analysis, and partnership development to generate new revenue streams. Build strong relationships with local companies, contractors, and event organisers to secure repeat and contracted business.
  • Maintain Excellence: Ensure the hotel shines by upholding strict brand, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Guest First: Be visible and proactive, ensuring every guest leaves with a smile.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven leadership in a hotel environment, GM or strong Deputy/AGM level.
  • The Budget Mindset: Experience in the economy sector is a huge plus. You know how to be efficient without losing the human touch, strategic, creative and able to communicate effectively.
  • Commercial Savvy: A strong ability to identify revenue opportunities, manage costs, and proactively drive sales through consistent weekly activity and local market engagement.
  • Sales Focus: Confident in networking, local market analysis, and implementing structured weekly sales plans that deliver measurable business growth.
  • Energy: A positive, can-do attitude that motivates the team even during the morning rush, passionate to grow and develop self and others.
