We're looking for an experienced and passionate hospitality leader to join ibis London Blackfriars as our Assistant General Manager. Located in the heart of London's vibrant South Bank, our hotel offers 297 bedrooms, Charlie's Corner restaurant and bar, a great location within walking distance of major transport links and some of London's popular attractions. Working closely with the General Manager, you will support the successful day-to-day operation of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong commercial performance and a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager in leading all hotel operations
  • Drive exceptional guest satisfaction and service standards across all departments
  • Act as the senior leader in the absence of the General Manager
  • Coach and develop teams to achieve their full potential
  • Support budgeting, cost control and revenue performance objectives
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, health & safety and company policies
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Previous hotel management experience, ideally within a branded hotel environment
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
  • Commercially aware with a hands-on approach to operations
  • Passionate about hospitality, guest experience and team development
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and lead by example
  • Geographically mobile and looking to become a future General Manager within our Hotel group
