Cyber security is no longer optional, it’s a board-level priority. One of the world’s leading Big 4 consultancies is expanding its elite Cyber practice and is looking for a senior Cyber Incident Response leader to drive both advisory and hands-on incident management engagements.

You’ll join a high-performing team of 200+ cyber specialists, working with major global organisations to prepare for, respond to, and recover from sophisticated cyber threats. This is a senior leadership role with a strong focus on client advisory, business development, and leading complex cyber response engagements.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead end-to-end Cyber Incident Response engagements (proactive + reactive)
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, including C-suite
  • Oversee live incident management, threat containment, and recovery
  • Drive cyber readiness programmes:
  • Incident response plans & playbooks
  • Wargaming & simulation exercises
  • Crisis management frameworks
  • Lead and grow client relationships and accounts
  • Support business development (proposals, go-to-market, client pitches)
  • Mentor and develop high-performing cyber teams
  • Contribute to new service offerings and innovation
  • What We’re Looking For (Essential)

    • Strong experience in:
    • Cyber Incident Response
    • Crisis / Incident Management
    • Security Operations or Advisory
  • Deep understanding of:
    • Threat actors, attack techniques & methodologies
    • Incident response frameworks and tooling
  • Proven track record delivering complex consulting engagements
  • Experience leading client-facing teams and programmes
  • Commercially aware with strong business acumen
  • Excellent communication skills (comfortable with C-suite stakeholders)
  • Experience running IR exercises, wargames, and training
  • Desirable

    • Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, SANS (401/501), ITIL, CIPP/E
    • Knowledge of frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST
    • Experience in private sector consulting environments
    • Willingness to be part of an on-call incident response rota
    • Eligible for (or willing to undergo) UK security clearance
