Location: Glasgow

Salary + benefits: £76,800 - £96,000pa + annual bonus (up to 30%) + single cover healthcare with a strong benefits package, and our excellent pension scheme, where we’ll double match your contribution up to a company contribution of 10%.

We’re now searching for a Head of Reporting, Performance & Insight, a pivotal senior leader and a key strategic partner to the Customer & Connections Director who will shape how customer, operational and regulatory insight comes together across our organisation. In this role, you’ll elevate insight into a true strategic asset: guiding senior leaders, influencing critical decisions, and helping position SPEN as the UK leader in customer service excellence. What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll lead the development of a single, data driven view of performance across our Customer Service Directorate—bringing together customer satisfaction, operational delivery, workforce insight and regulatory reporting.
  • You’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, using insight to shape strategy, deliver brilliant customer outcomes and drive operational efficiency.
  • You’ll also lead storm response reporting, workforce and cost modelling and budget control, benchmarking activity and risk governance, ensuring SPEN remains resilient, compliant and customer focused when it matters most.
  • Through innovative reporting, clear storytelling and strong leadership, you’ll ensure insight is not just reported—but used to drive action.

  • You’ll be confident translating complex data into compelling narratives that influence decision-making at the highest level.

  • You’ll bring a strong understanding of customer experience, regulatory awareness, and the ability to lead cross functional teams through insight led change, combined with a passion for excellence and continuous improvement.
